Organized annually by INJAZ Palestine Foundation, National Beverage Company Sponsors the Student Company Competition 2022




 

Ramallah - Al Hayat Economic - The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy joined the sponsorship program for the closing ceremony organized by INJAZ Palestine Foundation at Ramallah Cultural Palace for the Student Company Competition for the year 2022.  The ceremony was organized on August 29 and 30 with the participation of hundreds of students from different governorates.

INJAZ Palestine Foundation annually organizes the Student Company Competition, by forming teams of school and university students. The number of students who participated in this year’s event was about 500 students from nine governorates, including Jerusalem and Gaza City.  The students participating in the Student Company project are required to form their own companies, taking into account all the administrative and marketing details.

The General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC), Mr. Imad al-Hindi, stated, "NBC has continually endeavored to encourage projects that would develop the skills of young people and prepare them to create future projects that would help them find their way into the business world in the future." Mr. al-Hindi also explained that the Company has taken it upon itself to support projects and initiatives that enhance the role of the Youth in society as part of the Company's policy and its responsibility towards the community that looks forward creative youth contributions.

Mr. al-Hindi indicated that the advantage of the Student Company Competition is to create an atmosphere identical to what is happening in companies and projects in the field of marketing and preparing commercial plans. This experience also supports the development of many skills among students, such as teamwork, team spirit development and creativity.

The General Manager of INJAZ Palestine Foundation, Mrs. Rania Kutteneh expressed her appreciation for the sponsorship of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, for the Young Entrepreneurs’ Ceremony for the fourteenth year in a row, especially with the establishment of many student companies, which this year reached twenty teams and trained them for about a year.

Mrs. Kutteneh indicated that Injaz Palestine Foundation is working to provide the necessary support and training to qualify Palestinian youth and prepare them to enter the labor market, and to bridge the gap between the knowledge they acquired in school and the principles of establishing start-ups and entrepreneurs. She added that research studies have proven that the educational qualifications of the majority of Palestinian youth do not comply with the requirements of the labor market, so INJAZ Palestine Foundation works with all its partners in the educational and private sectors to increase the practical potential of young people.

The General Manager also stressed the importance of implementing the student company program annually, and indicated that the participation of all the governorates of the country is a real achievement and an imprint in the pioneering path of Injaz Palestine Foundation.

The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy endeavors to provide support and sponsor projects related to youth as part of its consistent policy over the years in supporting the community and enhancing the presence of youth energies in the community.
